This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (RFQ FA561326Q0029) seeks a complete system solution, including design, manufacturing, installation, and testing, alongside the removal of the existing system. Scope of Work

The contractor will be responsible for:

  • Removal and Disposal: The existing outbound baggage conveyor system, associated motor/control panels, wiring, and check-in counters. Impact protection rails will be removed and palletized for reuse. All other removed materials must be disposed of off-base in compliance with all applicable laws. Damage to building finishes during removal must be repaired.
  • Installation and Testing: Installation of the new system, including quality conformance and reliability tests.
  • Training and Documentation: Provision of classroom and on-the-job instructions for government personnel, along with required data items such as as-built drawings and equipment manuals.
  • Performance Standards: The system requires a minimum 15-year service life, specific reliability/availability metrics, and noise levels not exceeding 85 dB(A).
