Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

The objective is to provide services to certify one (01) lifting rig structure, specifically the 75’ WLIC LIFT RIG.

• Conduct all necessary inspections to certify the lifting rig structure in accordance with referenced drawings and SFLC Standard Specification 8634.

• The slings are excluded from this certification.

• Weld inspection type and length requirements will be determined by the Certifying Authority.

• Re-load testing is not required as the rig has been previously load tested.

• Period of Performance: May 1, 2026, to May 10, 2026.

• Location: USCG Yard, Baltimore MD 21226.

• A Certification Report including:

  • Appendix B-2 (of SFLC STD Spec 8634), signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer (State of Maryland).
  • Appendix B-23 and Appendix B-24 of SFLC STD Spec 8634, completed.
  • Inspection Findings with supporting documentation.
  • Surveyor’s Endorsement, annotated as “SATISFACTORY” or “UNSATISFACTORY”, with any contingencies clearly noted.

• Certification must meet requirements stated within SFLC STD Spec 8634.

• References include Coast Guard Drawings (McLean Drawing LB 72, 200TN Spreader Frame 7/1/14; McLean Drawing LP15, Lifting Plates 15 A, B, C, & D) and Coast Guard Publication (SFLC Standard Specification 8634, -2022 Drydocking).

• Post-award access to previous certification reports, docking history, last NDI Report, and last completed load test may be available upon request.
