This RFQ seeks 46 units of Polish, Plastic, Type I, Liquid. Each unit consists of ten (10) sixteen (16) ounce containers per box. Products must be "Brand Name or Equal" and conform to salient characteristics, producer's specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, with proof of conformance potentially required. The maximum age of the product on delivery must be three (3) months from the date of manufacture. The place of performance/delivery is Norfolk, VA.
Key Requirements & Deliverables
- Product: Polish, Plastic, Type I, Liquid (NSN 7930-00-935-3794), Qty 46 BX.
- Packaging & Packing: Must comply with GSAM provision/Clause 552.211-75 and ASTM D-3951 for domestic and export shipments. Wood Packaging Material (WPM) must adhere to GSAM 552.211.89 or ASTM D-3951 and be treated/stamped for export.
- Marking: Compliance with GSAM 552.211.73, Federal Standard 123 (domestic civilian), and Military Standard 129 (military activities) is mandatory. A Military Shipping Label (MSL) is required. Special markings include Lot Batch number, dates of manufacture and re-inspection (24 months), instructions for use, and markings as per P-P-560. The attached MIL STD 129R document provides detailed guidance on these marking and shipping label requirements, including barcoding.
- Data Submission: A Safety Data Sheet (SDS) conforming to Federal Standard No. 313, with OSHA HazCom/GHS compliant labeling, is required.
- Regulated Materials Shipments: Domestic shipments must comply with DOT (49 CFR 171-180) and OSHA HCS (29 CFR 1910.1200). Overseas shipments require additional compliance with IMDG, IATA, ICAO, and AFMAN-24 standards.
