This RFI is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA) for market research purposes. The VA is seeking information on qualified vendors capable of providing maintenance support for the C.W. Bill Young Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center's in-house Paging System. • Annual System Review: Update paging system hardware on servers and workstations, review hardware configuration, system logs, and error reports. Assess redundancy operations and report findings annually.

• System Documentation: Provide an initial component list and block diagram within 30 days of award, with updates following any component changes.

• Maintenance Recommendations: Provide detailed recommendations for maintenance updates/upgrades.

• Continuous Operation: Ensure continuous system operation, including redundancy, data synchronization, and full backup/recovery capabilities.

• Parts & Materials: Furnish all necessary parts, tools, hardware, and materials for support, maintenance, and repair.

• Web-Based Reporting: Provide and maintain a web-based solution for issue tracking, resolution, and reporting.

• Upgrades: Provide critical hardware/software upgrades within one business day and non-critical upgrades within one month of release, after testing and staging.

• Onsite Visits & Support: Perform onsite visits for operational checks and training. Provide 24/7 telephone technical support for emergency troubleshooting, with a goal of restoring service within four hours for system-affecting issues.

Product Description

This document outlines the requirements for maintenance support of the C.W. Bill Young Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center's in-house Paging System. The contract will cover a 12-month base period plus two 12-month option periods.

• Annual maintenance renewal for the paging system, including labor and travel expenses.

• Maintenance support for the paging system and its backup, encompassing servers, applications, terminals, serial switching, transmitters, antennas, and UPS units.

• Maintenance of automated and manual fire alarm notification from the designated Simplex fire alarm panel.
