Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

The RMRVAMC Pathology Service requires a voice recognition system to facilitate the dictation and reporting of anatomic pathology patient reports.

• Implement a voice recognition system, specifically Dragon Medical Software (currently in use at RMRVAMC).

• Include word processing tools for text creation/editing and template management (pre-existing or customizable).

• Ensure continuous regulatory compliance with College of American Pathologist (CAP) cancer checklists, providing all current CAP Electronic Cancer Checklists (eCC) within 30 days of updates.

• Integrate with VistA HL7 and provide a list of current VA sites using the integrated system.

• Provide licenses for 6 pathologist dictation accounts, 1 transferable resident account, and 7 PA/Histo-tech accounts.

• Offer CAP eCC licenses for concurrent access by multiple Pathology staff members.

• Provide training for new users.

• Deliver VistA LAB V5 Integration Personality, Dragon Speak-based Voice Recognition System, Pathology User Licenses, Management System (Network User Speech, Device Configuration, Template Files Manager, AP System Downtime Tools, File Synchronization and Management Software), Delegated Workflow Module, implementation services (configuration, on-site training & support), Pathology User License Maintenance, Enterprise Manager Maintenance, VistA LAB V5 Integration Personality Maintenance, and CAP eCC Content Annual License (per dictator).

• CAP eCC availability within 30 days of updates.

• Ability to tag discrete data from CAP eCC Cancer Protocol Templates.

• Utilization of RMRVAMC Dragon Medical site license and VA’s Network Management Server’s (NMS).

• Provide on-site training for upgrades.

• Provide references from other VA sites for upgrades.

• System must adapt to different language/accents and possess an extensive pathology medical vocabulary library.

• Ability to free text in templates and create customized templates.

Five Year Blanket Purchase Agreement: 07/01/2026 – 06/30/2031.
