First Article Test (FAT) Requirements

• Submission: One (1) unit of CAGE 99207, Part Number 21C14061, Revision latest, within 120 calendar days of contract award.
• Cost: An estimated $15,000 for FAT testing will be added to offerors' prices.
• Approval: Government will notify approval/disapproval within 150 calendar days of receipt.
• Contractor Responsibility: All costs for additional tests due to disapproval, operating/maintenance instructions, spare parts, and repair during FAT are the contractor's responsibility. Production prior to FAT approval is at the contractor's sole risk.
• Waiver: A waiver of FAT requirements may be granted for offerors with recent (within 3 years) successful production of identical items using the same facilities and processes. Offerors requesting a waiver must submit two prices (with and without FAT).
