Deliveries must be in enclosed, temperature-controlled trucks (FDA tolerances) and comply with the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and USDA Grades and Standards.
- Product Quality: Produce must be clean, sound, wholesome, free from foreign material, and meet specific standards for mold, odors, color, and consistency. Prepared produce requires a minimum 5-day shelf life post-delivery.
- Packaging & Labeling: Must adhere to commercial practices and the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, with readable open code dates for prepared items.
