Please see the attached synopsis for details. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a multiple-award task order contract (MATOC) for architect-engineer (A-E) services in accordance with in accordance with 40 U.S.C. Chapter 11, Selection of Architects and Engineers as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 36.6 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS) subpart 236.6. The MATOC will be unrestricted (i.e. full and open competition) with a small business reserve. Firms will be selected for negotiations based on demonstrated competence and qualifications for the required work. The A-E contracts are required for civil planning, design, and support during construction for the Kansas City District and throughout the Northwestern Division (NWD) Area of Responsibility. The contracts will involve the preparation of a wide variety of civil works planning and design documents, environmental documents, studies, and specifications for projects. This contract may also be utilized to support planning and design on military installations, Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) projects, and Interagency and International Services (IIS) projects within the NWD boundaries that are not supported by existing contracts.
