Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work outlines the requirements for professional groundskeeping services at the Acadian Cultural Center (ACC) in Lafayette, LA, and the Prairie Acadian Cultural Center (PACC) in Eunice, LA. The goal is to maintain the buildings and grounds of both centers.

• Perform a total of thirty-six (36) grass mowings per calendar year, with frequency varying by month.

• Remove litter, trash, limbs, and debris before each mowing.

• Mow and trim around all structures, including lights, guardrails, gates, barriers, curbs, planters, buildings, signs, guy wires, trees, shrubs, picnic tables, trash receptacles, culverts, parking lots, and sidewalks, ensuring a neat appearance.

• Remove undesirable grass, weeds, and tree seedlings from planters, mulched areas, and expansion joints/cracks in paved areas.

• Trim all shrubs, bushes, hedges, and vines twice per year (April and August).

• Perform tree trimming once a year during winter months, ensuring 15 feet of vertical clearance around parking lots, driveways, and walkways, and trimming horizontally to avoid encroaching on structures.

• Remove leaves, debris, and litter from walkways, entrances, and parking areas.

• Remove graffiti that can be cleaned with a commercial cleaner.

• Clean all benches.
