Scope of Work
The project, titled Access Control Upgrade, aims to enhance building security and modernize the access control infrastructure. The scope includes:
- Door Hardware Installation: Removal of 16 existing crash bars and installation of 16 new stainless steel crash bars, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Network Cabling: Installation of approximately 17,000 feet of Category 6 (CAT 6) network wiring for 16 doors, neatly managed and terminated.
- Access Control System: Installation of five (5) new Paxton keypads at specified locations, with dedicated power sources, and integration/testing with the existing access control system.
Materials: The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary materials, including crash bars, CAT 6 wiring, Paxton keypads, and associated hardware.
Deliverables: Include removal of old crash bars, installation and testing of new crash bars, completed CAT 6 cabling, installation and testing of Paxton keypads, and a clean work area.

Challenge Process
