Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force (AFTC/PZIOA) has issued a Special Notice and Notice of Intent (NOI) to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract for Climate Controlled Storage and Factory Warranty Repair for the Mobile Modular Meeting Space (MMMS). The intended awardee is T.S. AND E. TRADE SHOW AND EXHIBIT LOGISTICS INC. This action is justified by the proprietary nature of the MMMS and the need to maintain the OEM warranty. Responses from interested parties are due by February 20, 2026.
Scope of Work
The requirement is for year-round, climate-controlled, secure storage for six (6) MMMS shipping containers in a centrally located U.S. facility. Services also include repair, modification, and maintenance of the MMMS, ensuring functionality and aesthetics while preserving the OEM warranty. The contractor must possess demonstrated capability, proprietary tooling, and technical expertise, and manage all aspects of MMMS maintenance, insurance, and storage, including necessary material handling equipment.
Contract & Timeline
- Type: Firm-Fixed Price (anticipated sole source)
- NAICS: 238390 (Size Standard: $19.0M)
- Period of Performance: February 15, 2026 – August 15, 2026
- Anticipated Award Date: February 23, 2026
- Place of Performance: N PALM BEACH, FL, 32542, United States
- Published Date: February 6, 2026
Eligibility & Justification
This is a sole source acquisition under 41 USC 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The justification highlights that the MMMS was custom-designed and fabricated by the current vendor, and transferring it to another vendor would void the existing warranty and introduce significant risk due to specialized knowledge, tooling, and fabrication processes required for maintenance and repair.
Submission & Evaluation
This is NOT a Request for Proposals or Quotations, and no solicitation package will be issued. The Government will review information received to determine if a competitive procurement is in its best interest. Interested parties must submit written, clear, and concise documentation of their capability to provide the required items by 3:00 pm CST on February 20, 2026. Verbal responses are not accepted. Questions should be directed electronically to 1st Lt Brooke Socolofsky at brooke.socolofsky@us.af.mil.
