Scope of Work / Product Requirements
The required Adjustable Sprinkler Head Assembly must consist of three main components:
- A full or part-circle (adjustable) solid brass or bronze impact sprinkler head.
- A forty-five (45) degree angle elbow body.
- A brass swivel.
Detailed technical specifications are provided in "1202SC26SS2708 Attachment 1 Adjustable Sprinkler Head Assembly Specifications." Key requirements include:
- Sprinkler Head: Solid brass or bronze impact type with stainless steel internal components (spindle, fulcrum pin, springs). It must feature a removable 5/32" (4mm) nozzle and a 1/2" – 14 Male National Pipe Thread (MNPT) inlet designed for a leak-free seal without O-rings or gaskets. Polymer parts are restricted to non-critical bearings.
- Elbow Body: Constructed from cast aluminum alloy (356-T6) with a 45-degree bend. It features a 1/2" NPT male inlet and a 1/2" NPT female outlet, designed to securely fasten inside a 1" x 1", 90-degree steel stake using a V-clip and bar system.
- Operating Parameters: The assembly must operate within 30-50 PSI, deliver 3.0-5.5 GPM, offer 20-340 degree part-circle rotation (full circle with trip lever disengaged), achieve a 30-45 ft spray radius, and maintain a 25-degree spray trajectory.
- Packaging: Special packaging is required, with 20 units per carton (10"x8"x6" corrugated fiberboard, 200 psi bursting strength, 32 lbs ECT), and cartons must be marked with ratings and limitations.
Vendors must be capable of shipping these items to the Rocky Mountain Incident Support Cache, Lakewood, CO.
