- Past performance thresholds may require one additional teaming partner.
- Potential clarification needed on staffing minimums before bid/no-bid.
Next steps
Validate eligibility requirements, assign capture owner, and schedule partner outreach to confirm teaming strategy before submission planning.
Quick Summary
The NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for Advanced Risk Reduction for Mission-Critical Systems (ARRMS). This RFI seeks specialized systems, software, and security engineering services to provide integrated verification and validation (V&V), mission security, and simulation and test (S&T) environments for NASA's mission-critical programs. Responses are due by June 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST.
Scope of Work
The procurement aims to acquire services that serve as a critical partner throughout the lifecycle of NASA's mission-critical programs. Key areas include:
- Core IV&V Services: Requirements verification, design analysis, code review, test evaluation, independent test execution, and operational-readiness assessments for various systems (spacecraft, instruments, ground systems, mission-operations software).
- S&T Environments: Development and maintenance of simulation and test environments, including digital twins, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) platforms, and virtual cloud-based environments.
- Software and Tools: Procurement, development, and support of software and tools, including Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools, custom tools, and frameworks.
- Strategic Growth Areas: Mission Security Engineering/Analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Application in IV&V processes, and advanced System/Software Simulation & Test capabilities.
Services will be performed under Task Orders, primarily at the KJIVV Facility in Fairmont, WV, aligning with NASA Procedural Requirements and relevant standards.
