Fit reasons
- NAICS alignment with historical contract wins in similar service areas.
- Scope strongly matches core technical capabilities and delivery model.
Risks
- Past performance thresholds may require one additional teaming partner.
- Potential clarification needed on staffing minimums before bid/no-bid.
Next steps
Validate eligibility requirements, assign capture owner, and schedule partner outreach to confirm teaming strategy before submission planning.
Quick Summary
The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) C5ISR Center is conducting market research through a Sources Sought notice for Advanced Uncooled Thermal Integration Efforts. This initiative seeks to inform future system requirements and prototype development for integrating next-generation, lens-less uncooled thermal sensors into systems optimized for low Size, Weight, Power, and Cost (SWaP-C). The goal is to demonstrate Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6+ in a relevant environment. Responses are due by April 26, 2026.
Scope of Work
The DEVCOM C5ISR Center is exploring capabilities for integrating Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) thermal sensors. These sensors will be compliant with a TBD Interface Control Document and will be lens-less. System integrators will be responsible for designing appropriate lenses to interface with the sensors, showcasing advanced capabilities and achieving TRL 6+ assessment in a relevant environment. The focus is on systems that optimize for low SWaP-C. Both complete systems and individual capabilities/expertise are welcome.
