Statement of Work (SOW)

To procure, deliver, commission, and support a new gas-fired air heater system to replace the existing unit which has reached its end of service life. This system is critical for supporting research and development missions at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) by providing high-pressure, high-temperature air for testing advanced propulsion systems.

• Provide a complete, fully functional gas-fired air heater system.

• Deliver the system as an integrated heater-burner package.

• Include integral forced draft burner, heating coils, heater trim, refractory, insulation, control systems, fuel train, and accessories.

• System must be delivered fully assembled and prepared for ground mounting.

• Facilitate straightforward connection to government-provided utilities and systems.

• Ensure clear and easy access for routine maintenance, inspection, and service activities.

• System must be capable of daily operation and restart after periods of inactivity up to 30 days.
