Scope of Work
Contractors will be responsible for comprehensive smart meter installation services, including:
- Locating and resurveying existing feeder and supply lines to facilities.
- Procurement and installation of all equipment and appurtenances.
- Testing, calibration, and quality control of new meter systems.
- Programming meter systems for network use.
- Training personnel on system operation.
- Working with local Civil Engineer Squadrons to obtain an Authority to Operate (ATO) – contractors are not required to obtain the ATO themselves.
- Providing associated documentation, such as permits, updated line survey maps, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, training documents, inventories, and progress reports.
