Scope of Work
This opportunity seeks one A-37B Dragonfly aircraft to serve as a static display. The provider (performer) will be responsible for all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and services for the aircraft display. Performers must comply with all FAA guidelines and certification requirements for airshow aircraft and aircrew, and aircraft paint schemes must adhere to Approved Warbird guidance. Key responsibilities include providing a digital press/media kit, video for local TV, being available for media interviews, and ensuring the aircraft arrives at least one day in advance for promotions. Required documentation includes Civil Aircraft Certificate of Insurance (DD Form 2400), Civil Aircraft Landing Permit (DD Form 2401), and Civil Aircraft Hold Harmless Agreement (DD Form 2402).
Period & Place of Performance
The air show will be held at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, on August 8th and 9th, 2026. The required period of performance for the aircraft display is from Friday afternoon, August 7, 2026, through Sunday afternoon, August 9, 2026. Aircraft arrival is required no later than 12:00 PM CST on August 7, 2026, with departure no later than 12:00 PM CST on August 10, 2026.
Government Support
The Organizer (Government) will provide aviation fuel (JetA, not to exceed 400 gallons) for performance, rehearsal, and final top-off, along with 4 quarts of 120W aviation oil. Hangar space at Offutt AFB is extremely limited but efforts will be made to shelter aircraft in adverse weather. Aircraft security on the parking ramp (day and night) and crowd control will be provided. Additionally, one automobile with a full tank of gas for performer transportation and one meal per performer on the event days (August 8-9, 2026) will be supplied. Performers are not responsible for fuel costs.
