Scope of Work
This requirement is for an open house promoter to provide one (1) C-47 aircraft for display and/or flying performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Meeting all FAA guidelines and certification requirements for participating airshow aircraft and aircrew.
- Ensuring aircraft paint schemes comply with Approved Warbird guidance.
- Providing all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision.
- Performing a minimum of one flight per day (10-15 minutes each), including pre-show performances.
- Providing a digital press/media kit and HD video, and being available for media interviews.
- Submitting Civil Aircraft Certificate of Insurance (DD Form 2400), Landing Permit (DD Form 2401), and Hold Harmless Agreement (DD Form 2402) prior to landing.
- Coordinating all media forms through Offutt Public Affairs.
Period & Place of Performance
- Period of Performance: Friday afternoon, August 7, 2026, through Sunday afternoon, August 9, 2026.
- Arrival: Required by 12:00 PM CST on August 7, 2026.
- Departure: No later than 12:00 PM CST on August 10, 2026.
- Location: Offutt Air Force Base, St Columbans, NE 68113.
Government Support
The Organizer/Government will provide:
- Aviation fuel (up to 600 gallons 100LL) and 4 gallons of 120W Oil.
- Limited hangar space at Offutt AFB.
- Aircraft security on the parking ramp and crowd control.
- Up to four (4) non-smoking hotel rooms for performers.
- Two (2) automobiles with a full tank of gas for transportation.
- One (1) meal per performer on event days (August 8-9, 2026).
Special Requirements
- The contractor is due 100% of the performance fee if on site and ready to perform, regardless of whether any portion of the airshow is flown (unless physically unable).
- The Organizer/Government is not responsible for damages caused by natural occurrences or weather.
