Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide all supervision, labor, equipment, parts, transportation, and tools necessary to remove and replace twelve (12) existing bathroom vanities at the U.S. Coast Guard Base Elizabeth City, Ready Crew Berthing Facility (Building 54).

• Removal and disposal of twelve (12) existing bathroom vanities, including sinks, fixtures, mirrors, light enclosures, light fixtures, associated plumbing (back to building connection), and adjacent toiletries cabinets.

• Provision and installation of twelve (12) new, like-in-kind bathroom vanities, sinks, fixtures, mirrors, light fixtures, and associated plumbing.

• Demolition of existing toiletries cabinets; these will not be replaced.

• Work includes ensuring new materials are compatible with existing building plumbing and electrical systems.

• Repair of any damage to tile work to match existing conditions.

• All work must be completed in accordance with North Carolina Building Code, North Carolina Plumbing Code, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), and all Federal, EPA, OSHA, and State of North Carolina laws and regulations.

• A one-year warranty on supplied equipment and labor is required from the startup date.

• Final acceptance is contingent upon COR approval of the job site's cleanliness and appearance.

• Utilities: Electrical power available; telephone services not provided. Contractor must provide portable restroom facilities.

• Safety: Contractor is wholly responsible for work site safety, implementing a safety program, and complying with OSHA regulations. Hot Work permits required.

• Environmental Compliance: Strict adherence to Base Elizabeth City wastewater permits, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plan, Clean Water Act, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. All discharges must be managed and reported. Waste disposal and chemical usage must comply with regulations. All installation-related solid waste must be removed daily.

• Materials: Must be delivered in original packages, clearly marked. Storage must follow manufacturer recommendations. Special care to protect against damage and prevent debris from entering airfields.

• Submittals: Required submittals include Pre-Bid Site Visit Request Information, Initial Product Data (vanity, sink, fixtures, mirror, light fixture, plumbing), Certifications/Licenses, Past Performance, Final Product Data, Project Schedule, O&M Manuals, and Warranty Information.
