Scope of Work
The required Aircraft Tire Bead Breaker must enable a single technician to quickly and safely break narrow- and wide-body bias and radial tires without damaging wheel halves or rubber. The system must strictly adhere to Air Force Technical Orders (T.O.) 4W1-61, 4W3-2-12-3, 4W1-2-212-2, and 44B-1-3. Key requirements include:
- Capacity: Accommodate wheel diameters 12-34 inches, tire diameters up to 68 inches, and widths up to 26.5 inches.
- Breaking Force: Minimum 60,000 lbs.
- Spade Adjustment: One-touch power/automatic adjustment for all four spade segments simultaneously to ensure equal pressure.
- Lift System: Adjustable head assembly height via a positive displacement hydraulic system.
- Safety Controls: Remote control, hard-wired emergency stop (E-stop), and loading assistance (U-shaped frame, positioning trolley, ramp adapter).

Delivery, Installation, and Training
