Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is an electronic Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial items, prepared in accordance with RFO 12.201 (Solicitation Procedures). This announcement is the only request for quotes; a written solicitation will not be issued. The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract.

• Provide a quote for an "Aircraft wheel washer with installation and disposal."

• Items must be new equipment and include a manufacturer's warranty.

• Re-manufactured or grey market items will not be accepted.

• Delivery is required to Ramstein AB, 66877 Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany.

• Shipping and handling costs must be included in the unit price.

• Contract type: Firm-fixed-price.

• Evaluation approach: Lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA).

• Quotes will be evaluated on price and the offeror's ability to meet delivery and specification requirements.

• Quotes must remain valid for 180 days from the RFQ close date.

• Only quotes in USD and EUR will be accepted.

• Quotes are due by 1600 (4:00 PM) Central European Time (CET) on Friday, 15 May 2026.

• All questions regarding this RFQ are due in writing by 1600 (CET) on Friday, 8 May 2026.

• Questions should be submitted via email to kirsten.bartholome.de@us.af.mil and jennifer.arnett.1@us.af.mil.

• A mandatory site visit will take place on Wednesday, 6 May 2026, at 09:00 CET at the Ramstein Visitor Center. A maximum of two representatives per company. RSVP by Wednesday, 29 April, at 1700 (5:00 PM) CET.

• The government intends to award without discussions but reserves the right to enter discussions.

• Vendors must be registered in the SAM.gov database to be eligible for contract award.

• Funds are not presently available for this effort; no award will be made until funds are available.

• The government reserves the right to reject any quotations or cancel the solicitation.

• Engineered Wheel Wash Power Blast Manifold (SS).
• Auto Heated Fresh Water Rinse (SS).
• Auto Steam Exhaust (ASE) & Damper.
• Auto Oil Skimmer (programmable).
• Removable Internal Reservoir Cover (SS).
• Remote Grease Fittings.
• Quick-load Non-scarring 2 Station Aircraft Main Wheel Fixture with turntable anchoring and securing system.
• Electrical System to meet NFPA 79, including safety disconnect, hour meter, etc.
• Stainless Steel Appointed Pump Upgrade with Viton seals.
• Steam Exhaust PVC Kit.
• Jib Crane with Trolley (66" length, 1000 lbs capacity).
• Quick-load Non-scarring 2 Station Aircraft Nose Wheel Fixture.
