Scope of Work
This Operations and Maintenance project aims to repair storm damage to flood control channels in Alameda County, caused by atmospheric rivers between December 2022 and March 2023. The work involves restoring damaged earthen slopes to their original grade. Key tasks include:
- Excavation of damaged areas, removing disturbed soil and vegetation.
- Placing Rock Slope Protection (RSP) at the waterside slope toe.
- Placing soil-filled RSP up to the 10-year water surface elevation.
- Restoring the upper portion of the slope with compacted backfill.
- Installing erosion control matting and hydroseeding.
