Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To perform a complete repair of all identified items for an Altec Pole truck/Mid Pro vehicle.

• Furnish all labor, parts, tools, equipment, appliances, and materials necessary for repairs.

• All work to be performed in accordance with this PWS and international, federal, state, and local codes.

• Work to be performed in the vendor's local shop after contract approval.

• Verify and repair Pole Guide functions.

• Replace inoperable pressure relief valve on auger release/pole guide/tool control valve.

• Replace inoperable tool flow divider valve on auger release/pole guide/tool control.

• Replace corroded power package sense signal valve solenoid.

• Replace worn lower boom hydraulic hoses.

• Replace worn pole guide hydraulic hoses.

• Replace leaking pole guide tilt cylinder.

• Replace leaking pole guide open/close cylinder.

• Replace corroded platform swivel pin.

• Repair fiberglass/gelcoat damage to platform and boom tip (major).

• Replace worn quick disconnect dust covers.

• Replace missing transferable tip pin.

• Diagnose inoperable digger/winch/rotate functions at upper controls.

• Replace rotation bearing and hardware.

• Replace all missing or damaged placards.

• Perform level surface stability test after rotation bearing or fastener replacement.

• Complete repair/replacement of identified items.

• Fix verified by vendor and government personnel through inspection/testing.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products for ALTEC Pole Truck repair services. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
