This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking responses from qualified sources for material information, with specific item details to be provided via an RFQ form attachment. • A reverse auction may be held.

• Payment terms are Net 30 Days AFTER acceptance of material.

• This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.

• Potential contractors will be screened for responsibility in accordance with FAR 9.104.

• Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This document outlines the requirements for the purchase of Aluminum Oxide super sacks for PNS blasting operations.

• Material: 36 Mesh Aluminum Oxide Abrasive Blast grit meeting MIL-A 22262 or equivalent.

• Quantity: 22 each, "1-ton" (2,000lb) super sacks of grit.

• Location: Building 337.

• Period: ASAP.

• Coordination: Morning deliveries are requested. Delivery must be coordinated and confirmed with the Project POC prior to loading and dispatching. All email communications must include the Project POC and Contract Specialist. The Project POC will provide approximately a 5 business day notice prior to expected delivery.
