• Button Hole Protrusion: The tread surface should be complete to prevent dirt collection.
• Nosing Lengths: Required lips/nosings should be 1-1/8" and run the full length of the tread (45 ½" and 42 ½"). The 4" and 9" measurements refer to tread width.
• Color: Aluminum finish is acceptable.
• Plate Thickness: ¼"
• Tread Type: No custom-fabricated treads are needed; tread covers are acceptable.
• Anti-Slip Surface: Required.
• Nosing Incorporation: Nosing will be incorporated into the tread/cover.
• Installation Location: Will be installed on steps.
• Screws: Minimum ¼" diameter and 1-3/4" to 2" long.
• CLIN 0003 Head Style/Length: Flat head, 1-3/4" long.
• CLIN 0004 Adhesive: Approved alternatives to "LOCTITE PL Polyurethane Brown..." are acceptable.
• Tapcon Screws: Approved equivalent masonry screws meeting performance specifications are acceptable.
• Photoluminescent Markings: Not required.
• Preferred Brand: No brand name preference for this award.
• Partial Quotes: Not accepted.
