This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR subpart FAR 19.1406 Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The Marine Corps Facilities Maintennace Services (FMS) has a requirement for Aluminum Sulfate, Sodium Hypochlorite, Acetic Acid , Polymers (Antionic & Cationic ) and Caustic Soda. BC Market Solutions, LLC has demonstrated the capability to provide all required chemicals. Accordingly, it is recommended that services continue with this company, and its utilization is required to meet mission needs. The anticipated NAICS Code for this requirement is 325998 — All Other Miscellaneous Chemical Product and Preparation Manufacturing.
The USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO) – Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR) at Marine Corps Base, Quantico VA intends to award a sole source contract to BC Market Solutions, LLC, 123 W Sycamore Street Wayland, Michigan 49348-1335, in accordance with FAR 19.1406 Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
