Requirements & Evaluation
Offerors must submit quotes detailing Unit Price, Total Price, and proposed RTAT. Quotes should specify if they are Firm-fixed-Price, Estimated, or Not-to-Exceed. A Teardown & Evaluation fee for items determined Beyond Repair (BR) or Beyond Economical Repair (BER) must be included. Government Source Inspection (GSI) is required. A price reduction will be applied for unexcusable delays beyond the required RTAT. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item will be considered, and proof of authorization must accompany the offer. The contractor is responsible for all inspection and quality assurance, including testing repaired items per original manufacturer's specifications. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD 2073.
