Purpose & Scope
This combined synopsis/solicitation (FAR Part 12) aims to procure seven AmpliFire Isothermal Fluorometers. These devices are essential for assessing the presence of environmental DNA (eDNA) of aquatic invasive species, including zebra mussel, quagga mussel, New Zealand mud snail, and golden mussel. The fluorometers will be utilized for real-time analysis of eDNA samples collected from 32 lakes and reservoirs within the Intermountain Region.
Key Requirements
The required fluorometers must be field portable and capable of real-time measurement of LAMP reactions. Key technical specifications include:
- Rechargeable battery with at least 6 hours of life.
- Three channels for fluorescent detection.
- Touch-screen display and internal memory for at least 1,000 runs.
- USB interface and barcode or QR code reader.
- Operating temperature range of 4°C to 33°C, with reaction temperature customization (45°C – 72°C).
