Scope of Work
The contractor will perform AMS radiocarbon analyses, including:
- Sample pretreatments using standard methods for 14C samples.
- Determination of the 13C/12C ratio for each sample.
- Conversion of samples to graphite and analysis using an accelerator mass spectrometer.
- Ensuring standard deviations on ages are less than +/-70 years for samples aged 500-10,000 years, with as little as 3 mg of carbon.
- Delivering a written report via email within three months of receiving each batch of samples, detailing results, ages, and special preparation procedures in a compatible data format (e.g., .xls, .csv).
All services will be performed at the contractor's facility. FOB Destination is Anchorage, AK 95508.

Evaluation

Additional Notes

- Hardcopy quotations will not be accepted.
- Offerors are responsible for checking periodically for any amendments to the solicitation; all amendments must be signed and included with the quote.
- This requirement is subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards, and wage determination is applicable according to the location of performance.
