This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items to procure Anderometer Hydraulics Replacement/Repair Services. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

• Rebuild a custom-built, defunct anderometer.

• Remove all hydraulics components and replace with new components to restore functionality.

• Purge old hydraulic fluid, replace fittings and connections, and incorporate new hydraulic fluid, fittings, connections, and control systems.

• Achieve test capabilities specified in the Objective section of the PWS.

• Provide a new system schematic for incorporated hydraulics.

• Provide documentation for proper system operation.

• Dispose of all old nonfunctional hydraulic equipment and components.

• Provide a written estimate detailing required/recommended repair parts and services, including part names, part numbers, and costs.

• Provide all necessary tubing, connectors, fittings, and hydraulic fluid.

• Provide equipment for flow control and axial load application.

• Construct a system with specific hydraulic capabilities including rotation speeds (200-1800 RPM), hydrostatic bearing support, and axial load capability (up to 1700 lbs).

• Ensure the hydraulics system does not allow excess vibrations.

• Provide hardcopy documentation for system operation.

• Provide a 2D CAD schematic drawing or industry standard equivalent for the incorporated hydraulics within 30 days of system installation.

• Period of Performance: One year from contract award.
