Quick Summary
The USDA Forest Service, Angeles National Forest, is soliciting quotations for Pest Control and Disinfection Services for its Supervisor's Office and the Little Tujunga District Office in Arcadia, CA. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside opportunity. Quotations are due June 4, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. PT.
Scope of Work
This requirement covers comprehensive pest control and disinfection services for two facilities:
- Angeles National Forest Supervisor's Office (ANF SO): Approximately 24,515 sq ft, requiring monthly monitoring services of existing pest control equipment. No new hardware installation is required at this location.
- Los Angeles Gateway Ranger District Office (Little T DO): Approximately 4,582 sq ft, requiring a baseline assessment, identification of pest infestation factors, and the placement and monitoring of rodent measures (e.g., Interior Tin Cats, Exterior Bait Stations, Glue Boards). The scope also includes specialized disinfection and cleaning of the 310 sq ft kitchen area at the Little T DO, specifically targeting areas inside cabinetry, behind heavy appliances, and high-surface areas due to rodent activity. Disinfectants must meet performance standards for Hantavirus and E.coli, with appropriate Safety Data Sheets (SDS) submitted. The focus is on general pest control, primarily rodent control, not mosquito control, though monitoring should identify and report other pest issues. Contractors are responsible for off-site disposal of all contract-generated waste. Services are to be performed Monday – Friday, 08:00 am – 04:30 pm.
