ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AND CALIBRATION ON MOBILE AUTOMATED SYSTEM (MAUS) EQUIPMENT AT GRAND FORKS AFB, ND

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To perform annual maintenance and calibration on Mobile Automated System (MAUS) equipment located at Grand Forks Air Force Base (GFAFB), ND.

• Provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services for annual maintenance and calibration of MAUS equipment.

• The contract covers three specific MAUS units identified by serial numbers and flaw inspection numbers, located at Grand Forks AFB, ND, building 605, Room 101.

• Only one unit will be serviced at a time; other units must remain operational.

• Annual Preventive Maintenance: Evaluate MAUS systems and scan arm assemblies, perform all maintenance and repairs on components, and generate service reports for each unit. Provide a hard copy service report with returned equipment.

• Annual Maintenance Checklist: Includes inspection and replacement of scan arm motor, drive pulleys, drive belt, resolver, resolver side bearings, resolver shaft flex coupler, linear slide bearing trucks, quick set buttons, scanner track carriage truck shoulder bolts, and track vacuum fittings. Excludes flexible track replacement.

• Telephone Support: Provide telephone support (9 am-5 pm CDT) for diagnosing and resolving problems.

• Return Maintenance Authorization (RMA): Contractor must submit an RMA number before the government ships non-functional equipment for repair.

• Preventive Maintenance: To be performed at the contractor's facility.

• Warranty: 12 months (364 days) from the date of acceptance for all replacement parts, materials, and workmanship.

• Government will pack and ship equipment to the contractor's facility.

• Government will determine the best mode of transport for returning repaired equipment at no additional cost.

• Contractor shall return/ship repaired equipment back to the NDI Lab at Grand Forks AFB, ND 58205.

• Warranty covers inspection, repair, or replacement of warranted items without additional cost to the Government upon written notification of a defect.

Sources Sought Notice

This notice is issued by the 319th Contracting Squadron, Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota, to conduct market research for maintenance and calibration services for Mobile Automated Systems (MAUS). The government is seeking to identify contractors capable of performing this work according to a Statement of Work (SOW).

• Maintenance and calibration services for MAUS equipment.
• Contractors must ensure all MAUS equipment is properly maintained per the SOW.
• Contractors are responsible for providing all management and labor for the operation and management of the required services.

Interested firms should submit a capabilities package outlining their ability to meet the requirements. The package should include:
