Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To procure an annual service contract for an existing Alpha MOS Heracles-150-0450 electronic nose (e-nose) system. The service aims to ensure the system is properly maintained and promptly serviced to support the analysis of approximately 3,000 samples annually and minimize operational downtime.

• Comprehensive maintenance and support for the Alpha MOS Heracles 150 E-Nose system located in East Lansing, Michigan.

• Hardware Support and Repair: 100% coverage for all hardware failures for the contract duration.

• Parts, Labor, and Visits: Includes replacement consumables, disposable parts, repair visits, and associated labor at no additional charge.

• Unlimited Instrument Support: Via phone or video conference during specified hours (9 am – 5 pm EST).

• Annual Onsite Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Application Support: One onsite visit annually, including application support.

• Application Use and Software Support: Sixteen (16) hours of support via email, phone, or video conference (9 am – 5 pm EST).

• Software Upgrades: Free software upgrades as they become available.

• Technical Training: Eight (8) hours of technical training via Microsoft Teams video meeting (9 am – 5 pm EST).

• Service contract period: One (1) year from the date of award, with four (4) one-year option periods, not to exceed five (5) years total.

• Onsite visits: Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm EST.
