The Government does not own the rights to the technical data, making it uneconomical to purchase from another source. This specific antenna array is the only one approved by the USCG's Aircraft Configuration Control Board for the MH-60T helicopter, and using a non-OEM-authorized source would compromise aircraft and aircrew safety. The USCG is conducting a brand name acquisition.
• Price Determination Methods: Market research, comparison of proposed price with previous purchases, current price list, comparison with similar items, and comparison to IGCE were used.
