Scope of Work
The requirement is for comprehensive vocational training programs at FCI Safford, covering fields such as Carpentry Technology, General Business Vocational Technology, Personal Trainer, and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Vocational Technology. Key aspects include:
- Accreditation: The contractor must be accredited by the Higher Learning Commission or a similar agency.
- Instruction: Provide pre-approved, qualified instructors who undergo security investigations (fingerprinting, drug testing). Instruction must be consistent with FCI rules and applicable laws.
- Delivery: Classes are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. Video Teleconferencing (VTC) may be used for remote instruction during modified operations but not as the sole method.
