Statement of Work (SOW)

To maintain the National Water Level Observing Network (NWLON) station 8728690 in Apalachicola, FL, ensuring accurate and reliable oceanographic and environmental data collection vital for navigation safety, spill response, search and rescue, and environmental management.

• Inspect and document the current condition of the four-pile elevated wood platform's piles.
• Re-plumb or straighten platform piles as necessary.
• Install a Pile Wrap System (e.g., Seashield FX-70 or Snap Jacket) encasing the piles in a mortar or cement-based compound, considering water type, weather events, usage, existing pile condition, and installation process.
• Ensure all debris and removed materials are properly disposed of according to federal and state requirements, with no disposal in the water.
