Scope of Work
The contractor will provide in-person Adaptive Physical Education services to students with disabilities, ensuring services align with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and local state essential elements. Services are required weekly throughout the school year, with additional hours for parent-teacher conferences and summer compensatory education. Key deliverables include reviewing IEPs, conducting APE sessions, documenting student IEP progress, and participating in onsite or virtual IEP meetings. The contractor must provide their own personal laptop, Wi-Fi, other IT equipment, and necessary supplies/materials.
Key Personnel Requirements
Personnel must possess a Masters Degree in Physical Education and/or Adapted Physical Education, have at least 5 years of directly related professional experience, and hold an Adapted Physical Education certification. All contractor personnel will be subject to background investigations and must comply with safety, security, and immunization requirements (MMR, Tdap, Polio, TB test).
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Time and Material (including Labor Hour) purchase order.
- Period of Performance: A base year (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027) with four one-year option years.
- Estimated Hours: Approximately 1,808 hours annually, comprising 1440 for the school year, 32 for parent-teacher conferences, and 336 for summer compensatory education services.
- Pricing: Quotes must provide an all-inclusive service rate covering labor, supplies, materials, taxes, and travel, and remain effective for 120 calendar days.
