• Advanced diagnostics for fault detection and condition monitoring.
• Predictive maintenance technologies (IoT, machine learning).
• Automated parts identification and cataloging (AI-assisted).
• Integrated maintenance management platforms.
• Digital work instructions and AR-enabled technician support.
• Automation/robotics for repetitive or hazardous maintenance tasks.
• Parts lifecycle visibility and demand forecasting.

Contracts awarded under this CSO will be fixed-price, potentially including fixed-price incentive fee contracts, and will follow FAR Part 12 Commercial Item Procedures. The CSO is continuously open until September 30, 2030, with the possibility of extension.

The process may involve up to three phases:

• Phase 1: Solution Brief: Initial submission outlining the proposed solution and its relevance. No payment for costs.
• Phase 2: Presentation/Pitch (if applicable): For selected Phase 1 submissions, allowing elaboration on the technical approach and demonstration. No payment for costs unless stipulated.
• Phase 3: Commercial Solution Proposal (CSP): Full proposal for those deemed meritorious through prior phases. Subject to funding availability. No payment for costs unless stipulated.

Proposals are evaluated on individual merits, not comparative basis, using a "Best Value" standard (optimal combination of cost, quality, technical capability, and delivery).

Both traditional and non-traditional defense contractors are eligible. Specific set-aside requirements will be detailed in individual Areas of Interest (Aol).

This Area of Interest (Aol) seeks solutions for semi-annual inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of Clean Agent systems (FM-200/HFC-227), Carbon Dioxide (CO2) systems, and Kitchen Hood fire extinguishing systems at Anniston Army Depot (ANAD). The resulting contract will include one base year plus four option years.

• Service three system categories across 16 buildings: Kitchen Hood Systems, FM-200 Systems, and HFC-227 / CO2 Production Systems.

• All work must comply with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards (12, 17A, 72, 96, 2001) and manufacturer guidance.

• Tasks include functional testing, visual inspection, cylinder verification, simulation of discharge circuits, and alarm verification.

• Specific system requirements include replacing fusible links and blow-off caps for Kitchen Hoods, cleaning detectors and testing battery backup for FM-200/CO2 systems.

• Remediation (repairs) will be based on inspection findings, with a not-to-exceed annual budget. Parts over $500 require Contracting Officer approval.

• Emergency work requires a separate not-to-exceed budget, with technicians on-site within 24 hours and work completed within 48 hours.
