ARTICULATING BOOM LIFT RENTAL

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide equipment for exterior surface blasting and coating operations on a U.S. Coast Guard 270’ vessel while it is enclosed on a ship lift.

• Rental of specified articulating boom lifts (JLG 800AJ or equal) for a period of 7 consecutive months.

• Lifts must be manufactured within 5 years of the contract award date.

• Equipment must be in good working order, confirmed by an inspection report prior to delivery.

• The work includes blasting and coating operations of the entire U/W Hull surface.

• Normal damage incurred during the work task will be at no cost to the Government.

• Any damage outside normal wear and tear must be approved by the Contracting Officer before repair.

• Vendors are responsible for protecting their equipment against wear and tear.

• If equipment becomes non-functioning, the Contractor has 24 hours to replace or repair it.

• Contractor must be available 7 days a week for repairs or replacement.

• Period: 7 consecutive months, scheduled between 07/6/26 and 02/28/27. The final period will be determined by the Yard POC / Ship Superintendent.

• Location: USCG Yard, 2401 Hawkins Point Rd, Baltimore, MD 21226, specifically on the 270’ CGC Campbell while enclosed on a ship lift.

• Equipment Specifications: Articulating Boom Lift with a platform height of 80ft, platform capacity of 500lbs, wheelbase of 9ft 6in, platform rotation of 160 degrees, and ground clearance of 15in.

• Delivery: Between 7:00 am and 9:00 am to Bldg. 80 at the USCG Yard.

• Yard Access: Coordination through the Yard POC. All personnel require visitor passes and security clearance. A list of personnel with full name, ID details (valid driver's license preferred), and date of birth is required 24 hours prior to access. Passports are required for non-US citizens. Authorized IDs include CAC, Foreign Passport, TWIC, Green Cards, US Passport, or MOST state IDs.

• Hard Hats: Must display employee name (min. 3/8” height) and Company name (min. ½” height) in black lettering.

• Contract Modifications: Only the Contracting Officer can modify the contract. No oral modifications are valid.
