This solicitation is for asbestos, lead, and mold abatement services at the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System. The work involves removal and disposal of contaminated materials in various buildings.

• Removal and disposal of asbestos, mold, and lead-containing flooring and wall materials.

• Specific locations include Buildings 114, 113, 115, 218, 500, and Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center Buildings 200, 201.

• Adherence to VA's Asbestos Management Standard Operating Procedures.

• Use of specific sheeting requirements (1-layer 4mil flame retardant walls/barriers/ceilings, two layers of 6 mil flame retardant for floors).

• Installation of negative air, three-stage decontamination areas with hot and cold showers.

• Requirement for third-party Industrial Hygienist, Certified Asbestos Consultant, and Certified Site Surveillance Technician for monitoring.

• Lead abatement requires a California Department of Public Health Inspector/Assessor or Lead Sampling Technician.

• All personnel must possess required certifications (Asbestos Worker, Lead Worker, Asbestos Supervisor, HAZWOPER, etc.).

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed-Price.

• Period of Performance: Estimated July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027.
