Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To safely remove all asbestos-containing pipe insulation and replace it with new, non-asbestos insulation in the crawlspace of Facility 566. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision.

• Asbestos Abatement: Inspect, contain, remove, and dispose of approximately 375 linear feet of asbestos-containing pipe insulation. This includes establishing a regulated work area, using wet methods, containerizing waste, and conducting air monitoring.
• Insulation Replacement: Install new, non-asbestos pipe insulation meeting building codes and energy efficiency standards, ensuring it is properly fitted and secured.
