Scope of Work
The selected auctioneer will be responsible for comprehensive auction services, including:
- Coordination & Logistics: Transporting property from the warehouse to auction sites, providing casual laborers, and compiling detailed auction lot lists.
- Auction Site Management: Potentially providing a safe, secure, and guarded auction yard, and ensuring security for property at off-site auctions.
- Compliance & Approvals: Ensuring adherence to host government laws and liaising with relevant agencies (e.g., Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Revenue Authority, Juba City Council).
- Advertising & Promotion: Designing and conducting advertisements via various media (radio, newspapers, TV, social media, public announcements) in consultation with the GSO.
- Government Coordination: Transporting customs officers, collecting/forwarding customs documents, covering associated costs, and assisting bidders with customs clearance.
- Bidder Support & Facilities: Providing on-site facilities (shade, tables, chairs), guiding bidders on documentation, ensuring property handover, assisting with bank deposits, and managing customer workforce.
- Administrative Tasks: Ensuring timely payments, registering and controlling bidders, and maintaining a clean and well-ventilated warehouse.
