Purpose & Scope

This notice seeks to identify qualified vendors for comprehensive audiology examinations. Services include differential diagnosis using methods like basic comprehensive audiometry, tympanometry, acoustic reflex tests, and pure-tone and speech audiometry. Contractors will provide written reports within 15 calendar days, summarizing findings, recommendations, and advising on work-relatedness of hearing conditions. Patients with medically related hearing loss will be referred back to the Occupational Health Nurse at RIA.

Performance Standards

Quality of care must meet or exceed national standards (Joint Commission, AMA). Patients must be scheduled within 72 hours of a telephonic request, and written reports submitted within 15 calendar days. Contractors are expected to achieve at least 99% compliance for specific tasks and 100% compliance regarding combating trafficking in persons policy.
