Salient Characteristics / Requirements

Key requirements for the devices and accessories include:

  • Compatibility with OtoSuite software/system and wireless capabilities.
  • Inclusion of a speaker unit with charger, REM tube, probe tube holder, and ear hook upgrade kit.
  • Ability to perform coupler-based fittings, hearing instrument testing, and adjust the sound spectrum.
  • Provision of accurate wireless monaural and binaural Probe Microphone Module (PMM).
  • A compact and portable test chamber; PMM, test chamber, and audiometer must be usable together or separately.
  • Support for binaural, simultaneous, and open fitting measurements.
  • Inclusion of simulators and speech mapping for patient counseling.
  • Preference will be given to American-made products.
