The VA is seeking six (6) Automated Endoscope Leak Tester Systems and six (6) Wall Mount Holders (three of each for Leavenworth VAMC and three of each for Topeka VAMC). The requirement is for a "brand name or equal" product, with the Olympus America Inc. ALT-Pro system cited as an example. Key salient characteristics and technical specifications include:
- Capacity: Tests up to two endoscopes simultaneously.
- Testing Method: Dry air leak testing (pressurization method) with an automated three-step procedure and RFID scanning.
- Display & Data: Easy-to-read LCD, integrated RFID reader with up to 13,000 record capacity, and electronic data export to PC.
- Modes: Automatic (computerized/dry leak test) and Manual (operator-controlled/wet leak test).
