The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Enterprise Solutions (OES) has identified a requirement to acquire an Automated Parking Guidance System (APGS) at the District Currency Facility (DCF) to include:
- Improvement of parking operations by providing accurate, real-time parking availability data through a mobile application and web-based portal.
- Providing a centralized management system for monitoring and reporting parking utilization.
- Ensuring reliability and ease of maintenance for the hardware and software being utilized.
- Reduce the time, carbon emission(s) and eliminate or reduce the stress associated with automobiles when driving around to find a suitable/available parking space.
BEP needs an APGS that also provides the design, network architecture and connectivity, equipment delivery and installation, assembly, hardware and software programming, and hardware and software testing for all individual parking sensors or cameras, parking guidance or signages, applicable head-end components, gateway/base station(s) network connectivity, establishment of a local/cloud server, web-based management tool, and end-user application with an easy to use and understandable graphical user interface for the BEP DCF.
