Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for providing a complete turnkey solution, including site preparation, delivery, offloading, positioning, planning, designing, fabrication, testing, installation, training, and commissioning of the new automatic aqueous parts washer. The system must meet or exceed current washer size and requirements, including specific technical specifications such as 460V 3PH power, steam heat, 50+ HP pump, 320gpm+ flow, 150psi+ pressure, 140-190 degrees F temperature range, 180+ gallon reservoir capacity, and a heavy-duty turntable (3500LB+). The washer must also feature an oscillating non-synchronous wash pattern, automatic programmable oil skimmer, insulated cabinet, automatic steam drying cycle, stainless steel internals, and an electrical system compliant with NFPA 79.
Key Deliverables & Requirements
- Project Time Chart: Submit a detailed project time chart with milestones for installation within 12 months of contract award.
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Procedure: Furnish a graphical, machine-specific LOTO procedure compliant with OSHA CFR 1910.147, provided in both laminated print and electronic formats.
- Training: Provide a minimum of 5 hours of verbal and hands-on training for 10 system operation personnel and 5 hours for 5 maintenance personnel at RRAD Building 421-S.
- Manuals: Deliver three (3) hard copies and one electronic copy (CD/DVD) of operations sequences, system programs, Bill of Materials (BOM), wiring diagrams/schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Warranty: A one (1) year warranty on the machine from final acceptance by the Government, or the manufacturer's standard warranty, whichever is greater.
