Justification for Non-Competition
The acquisition is non-competitive due to the proprietary nature of Avid Technology, Inc.'s products. Only the original manufacturer can repair equipment, provide follow-on service due to proprietary data, and is the sole vendor capable of providing the required support for their brand-name editing system hardware and software.
