Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for:
- Base Scope (CLIN 0001): Installation of two new recirculation pumps with associated insulated piping (Type L copper or PEX) for the hot water system in Building 26 (Daycare Center). This includes necessary electrical connections to existing panelboards.
- Optional Line Item (CLIN 0002): Furnishing and installing two electric point-of-use DHW heaters in Building 111 (Daycare Center), replacing the existing natural gas water heater. This involves disabling the gas heater, capping piping, and electrical work. Metering of panelboard "111" for 30 days is required.
- General Requirements: Adherence to NIST specifications, site-specific safety plans, and general instructions for conducting work at the NIST Boulder Campus, including site access, badging, permitting, and coordination with the COR. Work in Building 26 will require close coordination and potential off-hour activities.
