The instant requirement is to add an additional ten (10) 6x6 workstations and six (6) Leader office desks and worktables. During the process of realigning employees under one roof, the existing floor plan is not accommodating to all personnel. The overflow of personnel will be in the upstairs mezzanine area, where the existing cubicles are falling part and room 130 where there is no office furniture. Dur to the current configuration in the mezzanine, there is a tripping hazard concern that must be eliminated.
The contract is Firm Fixed Price. The original award was competitive. However, this is a modification to the current contract FA8571-25-F-0089. The above action was accomplished via Sole Source Justification to the awarded contractor as they were already renovating the area.
